Blender 4.1 is currently in Beta and i want to ensure Cats supports it on release, therefor I started looking at the changes and getting it to working in the currently 4.1 Beta.

Current things that are broken.

Anything that uses auto-smoothing due to a major change. I got to be honest, I may have to edit mmd tools myself to get importing working fully.
Foreach stuff has change may throw type errors if things are not done correctly, will check this out.
Possible issues with shape key stuff.
Possible issue with displacement method.
MMD Tools updated (Waiting on MMD Tools to be updated before I can even think about releasing a 4.1 version).
Test everything before any kind of release.... can't tell you how many times blender has change something and didn't put it on there docs.

Therefor I will continue to update for 4.1 but if MMD tools doesn't update for 4.1 we may have to skip this version when it comes to stable releases.

Ok when it comes to alot of Auto-Smooth stuff it's to do with MMD tools and I was attempting to fix the issue but I gave up, though even if I release an 4.1 version, if MMD tools isn't updated to work with 4.1 there will still be alot of issues. Therefor I will continue to update for 4.1 but if MMD tools doesn't update for 4.1 we may have to skip this version when it comes to stable releases.

Blender 4.1 is still in beta unto March the 19th, I hope I see a update for MMD Tools once it is released. If so I will release a blender 4.1 versions, however if MMD Tool's isn't updated then I can't release a 4.1 version due to Blender API changes which break MMD Tools, which also break cats.

Temp fix done for MMD tool's on our side. Due to release 4.1 version later today after testing.
