    Please read these warnings about the blender 4.1 release:

    Though we have updated MMD Tools to work better with blender 4.1 there may still be issues, this means there could be issues with some of Cats functions.

    We strongly recommend you use Blender 3.6 or 4.0 over this version of Blender due to the MMD issues.

    Please do not report issues for MMD Tool's on Blender 4.0 and 4.1, MMD Tool's is an external plugin and is not maintain by myself. I have updated MMD Tool's to the best of my ability however there WILL be issues. If you open an issue and it's relating to MMD Tool's it will be closed telling you to report the issue to MMD Tool's instead. If you have issues on Blender 4.0 or 4.1 please use Blender 3.6 instead.

    Please also note that Decimation and the Full body tracking fix has now been removed from Blender 4.1. If you need an alterative to Decimation please try the Tuxedo Plugin which is a fantastic alternative to Cats old decimation and bake system which you can find here.

    This version introduces a new features and changes a couple of things.

    Added:

    • Added export option for Resonite by @989onan #75

    Changes:

    • Change export model option to a popup to allow for future ways of exporting.
    • The download translations button now downloads translations from the translations Github.
    • The download translations button also downloads the latest internal dictionary from the translations Github. #74

    Fixes:

    • Fixed issue with load_bone_groups for collections in MMD Tool's.

    End Of Life Notice:

    Cats for Blender 4.0 is approaching EOL, this means after the 26/04/2024 no more updates will be provided for Blender 4.0. Updates for Blender 3.6 and 4.1 will continue to be updated.

    Blender 4.1 Version is quite new, please ensure you read the below information!
    Please note blender 4.1 release has been held back by a few days soooooooo atleast we have a blender 4.1 version ready to go :).

    ATTENTION:

    This is an early release for blender 4.1, we have done our best to get MMD tools working to the best of our abilities, however there are still some issues. As soon as MMD tool's is updated for Blender 4.1 we will ensure we update our version of MMD tools. For now we have fixed some of the more annoying issues.

    We strongly recommend you use Blender 3.6 or 4.0 over this version of Blender due to the MMD issues. WE WILL NOT FIX ANY ISSUES THAT IS NOT A CATS ISSUE AND IF YOUR ISSUE IS RELATING TO MMD TOOLS IT WILL BE CLOSED.

    The changes in the version are small bug fixes and do the following:

    Fixes:

    Fixed issue where Fix MMD Model would spit out errors.
    Fixed issues where Join meshes would just delete shapekeys.
    Fixed Viseme tab not displaying list of shapekeys.

    This version makes some large changes for Cats and resolves issue #69 and expands the ability to export translations. Please report any issues this version causes.

    ATTENTION:

    As from the 26/04/2024 Cats for Blender 4.0 will be no longer getting updates as we move our attention to Blender 4.1 and beyond. This is the 1 month noticed to let you know that after 26/04/2024 there won't be any Cat's updates for 4.0. Updates will continue for Blender 3.6 LTS.

    Added:

    • Added option in settings which allow the user to turn off the removal of rigid bodies when using cats. This is not recommended to turn off as it can cause issues.
    • Added the ability to export translations to csv to all translations options, this means you can now export translations for Mesh/ objects, Materials, Bones and Shapekeys.
    • Added a check on translate all button to make sure blender file is saved if the export to csv option is checked.
    • Added a manual remove rigid bodies and joints button to help users remove them when needed.

    Changes:

    • Separated the Fix MMD model remove rigid bodies options for the global setting this will prevent accidental removal when just using normal cats features.
    • Translations cleanup.

    Removed

    • Removed old 2.79 checks for translation classes.
